I've been starting blogs and other profitable online businesses for over 20 years. I created StartingaBlog.io to help others learn how to do the same.
Welcome to my website about how to start a blog, how to become a better blogger, and hopefully make a nice income while you’re at it.
This blog was officially started in May of 2022 (the month of the first published post).
StartingaBlog.io is a new domain name I recently purchased so it’s going to take a few months of hard work to get the traffic rolling in mostly due to the Google Sandbox.
The sandbox makes it super tough for brand new domain names to rank well in Google for the first few months. Brand new websites have to build trust, build relevancy, and build out high-quality content. That’s what we’ll be doing here on StartingABlog.io
The totally cool part is that as you follow our blog and its journey, you’ll get a first-hand look at how to grow a blog and what it takes. I’ll also be sharing some income and traffic reports with you when it makes sense.

Admittedly there is not a lot of content on our social media profiles at this time but we absolutely will be building out that content soon.
